Mechanical-Electrical Automation Technician • The qualified candidate should have at least 5 years, preferably 10 years, of related work experience on high speed automatic assembly and packaging equipment. • The ability to troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and laser optics equipment. Specific requirements include: • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting ability; • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics; • Knowledge of P.L.C.’s, AC, DC, Servo and Stepper motors, as well as Motor Controllers. • Must be able to use: multi-meters, calipers and micrometers. • Must have good verbal and communication skills. • Self starter, with the ability to work as a team.
